Advanced graduates set up charity event to sell their hand-made jewelry at ISB Spring Fair 2008
Every year the PTA at ISB (International School of Beijing) organizes one of the largest school event of the year. The ISB Spring Fair is held this year on 19 April 2008 and many people will be invited to participate and attend. Janice’s very own group of Advanced graduates comprising mainly of teachers at ISB will be setting up a booth to sell their own hand-crafted jewelry as a charity event for the New Life Centre. All proceeds will be donated to this Centre which Janice personally supports as well. “It is my proudest moment to see my ladies who graduated from my advanced workshops to use their newly acquired skills to give back to the community. These ladies came to me with no jewelry making skills and they have worked hard to get through each level of my courses to graduate from the advanced level!” – Janice Chong |
